What's another bad, incomprehensible brewery name? Plenty of others about.

Ours came from when I was playing Cities: Skylines (a 21st Century SimCity) and my wife asked if I was naming my town after her. I had to sheepishly apologise and let her know that I'd already called it Spookton, for absolutely no reason.

We didn't think about it again until we were throwing around possible names for a brewery that would have a charitable, local angle. The phrase "It takes a village to raise a child" popped into our minds and Spookton seemed like the obvious choice for an idyllic, supportive community that maybe didn't exist yet...

We fundamentally believe that most of us can do a little more to help the most in need. We're aiming to do it in a manner that you won't even notice, but the charitable organisations definitely will.

The silly name is just the beginning!
